Barcelona Held To Draw With Sevilla, Xavi: Bitter Sensation, I Will Have Trouble Sleeping

JAKARTA - Barcelona must accept the fact that they share points with Sevilla in the postponed match week 4 of the 2021/2022 Spanish League. Closing the match with a score of 1-1, Xavi Hernandez assessed that Barcelona should have won.

In the meeting at the Ramon Sanchez Stadium which took place early Wednesday, each team contributed one goal. Sevilla took the lead through Gomez's execution in the 32nd minute and Barcelona in the 45th minute through Ronald Araujo's kick.

Regarding the match, Xavi considered his team's game to be quite good. So, this draw is a bitter pill to accept. Moreover, according to him, Barca should be able to win in this match.

"This is a bitter sensation. We've got a point, but we have to be patient. It's difficult to accept, because we failed to win. I will have trouble sleeping because I think we should have won,'' said Xavi, quoted by Football Espana.

Although disappointed, Xavi saw the positive things shown by his team in this match. The coach apparently wants Barcelona players to be able to maintain the style of play that was applied against Sevilla.

Xavi considers his team to be on the right track to continue developing. Moreover, Sevilla is a very experienced opponent and has good tactics.

Xavi admitted that he would evaluate his team's game. But overall the team's game was pretty good.
