Ariana Grande Denies Paid More Expensive Than Cynthia Erivo For Wicked Film

JAKARTA - Singer Ariana Grande denied the issue that she was paid higher than Cynthia Erivo in the film Wicked which was released last November 2024. Reporting from Variety, Ariana Grande said that when she was offered to play in this film, she and Erivo discussed the contract via telephone. "We discussed our contracts together and called each other. 'Do you see it (contracts)? What do you think about it? Let's talk about it together," said Ariana Grande as quoted by VOI, Friday, January 3. This was confirmed by Erivo. They even talked about each other's fees for this Wicked film. "We both experienced it, 'How much lift will we get? How about it?' We are really honest (about the fee), "explained Erivo.
