Given The Target Of Qualifying For The World Tour Final, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito: It's Not A Burden, I Just Play And Enjoy

JAKARTA - Indonesian men's singles badminton player, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito was given a target to qualify for the World Tour Finals (WTF) tournament after the Indonesia Open 2021. Even so, Shesar admitted that he was not burdened.

For Shesar, the most important thing right now is to focus on completing the Indonesia Open 2021 match well. He chose to live it casually while aiming for the maximum target.

"If it becomes a burden, no, because I don't think too much about having to join (WTF). I mean, I just want to play and enjoy it, whether it's a matter of passing or not," said Shesar, quoted by VOI from Antara, Wednesday, November 24.

Despite choosing to take the fight casually, Shesar actually has a great opportunity to appear in the BWF. This he can get if he manages to qualify for the semifinals of the Indonesia Open 2021.

If he managed to advance to the semifinals, Shesar said he would take full advantage of the opportunity. Because it is a key ticket to appear in the WTF, for that he chose to focus on completing the current tournament.

“If the results are good here until they enter the semifinals, thank God, it will be possible to participate. I just don't want to think about WTF first, just focus on the Indonesia Open from me," said Shesar.

So far, Shesar has completed the first round of the Indonesia Open 2021 with a win over Sitthikom Thammasin. The victory achieved through the game ruber brought him through to the second round.

To be able to secure a ticket to the WTF, the world number 20 badminton player still has to go through two other matches. In the second round later, Shesar will meet Rasmus Gemke or Lee Zii Jia.
