JAKARTA - Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc (MMNA) reported its sales results during 2024 in the United States (US) by successfully selling 109,843 units, an increase of 25.8 percent compared to the previous year.

MMNA's President and CEO, Mark Chaffin, said the impressive results were obtained thanks to increasing demand for the Outlander and Outlander Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) models.

"This year's sales performance demonstrates the company's commitment to balancing our model offerings and value propositions, combining technology and customer choices with an outstanding network of dealer partners across the US," Chaffin said on MMNA's official website, Monday, January 6.

This medium-dimensional SUV managed to carve as many as 45,253 units, an increase of 25.8 percent. This result was followed by Mirage models that were sold for up to 29,766 units for a full year and Outlander Sport for up to 15,125 units.

The next best-selling model is the Eclipse Cross with 12,724 units, up 28.2 percent, and outlander PHEV with 6,975 units of the total and at the same time obtaining the achievement of one of its best calendars.

Mitsubishi also managed to close the fourth quarter of 2024 with an impressive achievement by selling 27,125 units, an increase of 38.4 percent.

Mirage's hatchback model managed to become the best-selling player in that period by recording sales of up to 9,742 units, followed by Outlander with 9,624 units, and Outlander Sport with 3,419 units.

The Eclipse Cross became another best-selling vehicle in the fourth quarter of last year with 2,540 units and PHEV Outlanders up to 1,800 units.
