JAKARTA - BYD is expanding its presence market in the global automotive market, now targeting the East African region with official presence in Ethiopia.
Citing from the CNevpost page, Monday, December 30, this Chinese brand voted for Ethiopia Moenko, a subsidiary of the Inchcape Group as the official distributor, and the launch of the new brand was carried out in Addis Ababa.
A total of five car models were brought to the Ethiopian automotive market, including BYD Seagull which filled the hatchback segment and there was also the Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) Tang, and several other models.
