JAKARTA - Xiaomi is increasingly accelerating the production of its electric vehicles to meet ever-increasing market demand. This technology manufacturer from China is not only focused on smart devices, but is also serious about working on the environmentally friendly vehicle segment. In fact, they have just released the latest data regarding the delivery of their flagship electric vehicles.

According to a report from CNevpost, Monday, September 2, the Xiaomi SU7 electric sedan has been successfully delivered 10,000 units throughout August. This figure has been consistent over the past three months, showing stability in production and distribution.

"SU7 has been successfully delivered more than 10,000 units over three consecutive months," Xiaomi said in a statement.

Xiaomi is optimistic that it can reach the delivery rate of 100,000 units by November, surpassing the target set for the end of this year.

In May, Xiaomi recorded a shipment of 8,646 units for the SU7 series. Although it did not release specific figures for the following months, revenue reports on August 21 stated that they managed to deliver 27,307 units of Xiaomi SU7 in the second quarter.

"Our Xiaomi EV plant, which started operating with a double shift in June 2024 and underwent adjustment and maintenance in July, continues to increase its production capacity," the company said in a second-quarter report.

With the projected cumulative delivery target of 100,000 SU7 units faster than scheduled, Xiaomi has set a new target of 120,000 units by 2024.

Along with the growing popularity of this electric sedan, Xiaomi also continues to expand its dealer network which has now reached 111 dealers in 36 cities in China. In addition, in September, Xiaomi plans to add 16 new dealers to reach more consumers.
