Complete Package, Kia Presents Electric Vehicle Line At The GIIAS 2024 Event

JAKARTA - PT Cretaceous Indo Artha (KIA), as the agent holding the Kia brand in Indonesia, displays a complete electrification vehicle line at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024.

The presence of the complete electric vehicle line confirms its commitment to support the acceleration of electrification in the country.

In the exhibition which will last until July 28, Kia presents EV9 GT-Line, EV9 Earth, EV6 GT, EV6 GT-Line, to The New Kia Carnival Hybrid to present a choice of premium electrification vehicles.

Kia's commitment to supporting the acceleration of electrification in Indonesia not only reflects innovation, but also our efforts to create a more sustainable future," said Marketing & Development Division Head of PT Cretaceous Indo Artha (KIA), Ario Soerjo, in his official statement, Tuesday, July 23.

The GT-Line EV6 model itself was first displayed on GIIAS 2022 and officially marketed in Indonesia in December 2022. Then, at GIIAS 2023, Kia presented EV6 GT which is the highest variant of the EV6 series and launched EV9 GT-Line for the first time in Southeast Asia.

More deeply regarding the specifications of each product, EV6 GT-Line is supported by a 77.4 kWh capacity battery capable of exploring up to 506 kilometers in one charge. Kia EV6 GT-Line is also equipped with various advanced features, including Wide Sunroat, Front Ventilated Seat, Meridian Premium Sound System, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) complete, Remote Smart Parking Assist, to Vehicle to Load (V2L) features.

Then turning to EV6 GT, this electric car with a sport car has a sporty outer appearance compared to the GT-Line variant. EV6 GT has a variety of modern features that are the same as the GT-Line variant with more driving performance thanks to the use of two electric motors combined with the All Wheel Drive (AWD) driving system.

Furthermore, Kia EV9 GT-Line is an electric car with the design language Opposites United which is equipped with various advanced features. In terms of mechanical heart, Kia EV9 GT-Line has two electric motors with an All Wheel Drive wheel drive capable of producing up to 385 PS of power and a maximum torque of 700 Nm.

Then, EV9 Earth, which is the latest variant of the EV9 series, has a suitable 7-SEATER bench configuration for customers who want an electric SUV that can accommodate more passengers. Various comfort support features remain presented at Kia EV9 Earth, such as Front Ventilated and Heated Seat, Triple Zone Auto Climate Control, and Wireless Charging which can ensure high-quality driving comfort. In addition, Kia EV9 Earth is supported by the ADAS feature, airbag 10 points, rear parking cameras, and parking sensors.

Regarding the full-sale service of the electrification vehicle line, Kia provides vehicle guarantees of up to 5 years or 150,000 kilometers and battery guarantees of up to 8 years or 160,000 kilometers. This of course can increase customer convenience in having Kia EV9 series, Kia EV6 series, and The New Kia Carnival Hybrid series.
