Blackpink Ticket Controversy, Sarwendah's Party Confirms They Are Ready to Pay for Additional Seats

JAKARTA - Sarwendah's party clarified the allegations that her client put pressure on Ruben Onsu regarding the Blackpink concert tickets. According to the lawyer, the request for additional seats is solely for the safety of the children.

Sarwendah's lawyer, Abraham Simon, said that initially Ruben and his children, Thalia and Thania, would watch the concert, but as time went on, Ruben suddenly did not attend.

"The ticket was originally bought for only three people. The ticket was bought for only three people there for the children and RO initially yes. But RO was unable to attend, then our client said 'You promised to watch Blackpink with the children but you also canceled it'. Okay," explained Abraham Simon at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, August 6.

Finally, Sarwendah got information that Ruben's ticket was replaced by Betrand Peto alias Onyo. Understanding the situation of the concert which will be attended by thousands of people, Sarwendah is worried that Onyo will be overwhelmed to take care of his younger siblings so that Sarwendah asked for one more seat for one adult to accompany them.

"Our client asked 'Can't there be one more row?'. What is the purpose? The Blackpink concert is crowded, thousands of people. If only Onyo is with his two sisters, what if one of them wants to go to the toilet? Do they have to be left?" said Abraham Simon.

Then, he straightened out that his client was willing to pay for the ticket and denied pressing Ruben to pay for the ticket.

"One thing that the lawyer for RO did not explain, our client answered: 'It's okay, I'll pay it myself'. So our client did ask for one seat, but our client will pay. The goal is good, but why is it framed that our client is putting pressure," he added.
