JAKARTA - Porsche Indonesia held a 'Driven by Performance: Porsche Precision Meets Cycling Passion', an innovative initiative designed to promote zero carbon emissions.

A total of more than 50 cyclists from various communities gathered to participate on a 40 km journey, realizing the spirit of sporty and emission-free performance.

The 'Driven by Performance: Porsche Precision Meets Cycling Passion,' event begins in the morning, Saturday, June 22 at the Porsche Center Jakarta, with cyclists crossing a 40 km long route with beautiful views of the city of Jakarta.

The event not only emphasizes the importance of reducing carbon emissions, but also celebrates the excitement and benefits of cycling for health.

"We are proud to host the 'Driven by Performance: Porsche Precision Meets Cycling Passion,' which is in line with our vision for a sustainable future," said General Manager of Porsche Indonesia Alexander Riedel, in his official statement, Saturday, June 22.

All-electric Porsche Taycan leads a group of cyclists, regulating speeds in full force.

Representing Porsche's electrification spirit, Taycan easily combines Porsche's performance with everyday use as well as incorporating advanced production methods that seek to improve sustainability standards.

Since its launch in 2019, the production process of this car has become carbon neutral. It is also the first Porsche to offer skin-free interior options using materials made from recycled products and renewable materials.

In closing the memorable journey, the participants enjoyed breakfast at the finish line at Tiger Studio, Four Seasons Jakarta, where participants could take a closer look at the latest all-electric model from Porsche, namely the new Tiger.

Together with the Porsche community, Porsche Indonesia paved the way for a better tomorrow.

"The participation of various cycling communities and the presence of Taycan at the forefront show our dedication in promoting environmentally friendly implementation as well as providing a sporty and agile experience that characterizes Porsche," said Alexander.
