Vingroup And Mitsubishi Corporation Establish Strategic Cooperation, One Of Them Is The Automotive Sector

JAKARTA - Vingroup and Mitsubishi Corporation have signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which focuses on five main fields including the automotive industry.

In particular, the automotive industry, Mitsubishi Corporation will explore the provision of full-sale services for VinFast in the international market, thereby increasing VinFast's competitiveness in electric car brands.

Taking advantage of their extensive experience in Japan, Vietnam, and the global market, the collaboration between Mitsubishi Corporation and Vingroup, through the establishment of a working group, will soon implement the MoU's goals. This partnership aims to realize international standard products and services to market, advancing sustainable development.

"Mitsubishi Corporation is actively carrying out various business businesses driven by missions to improve the quality of life of the Vietnamese people," said Mitsubishi Corporation CEO of Urban Development and Infrastructure Takuya Kuga, in an official statement, Friday, May 31.

In addition to the automotive sector, both of them are also focused on the data center business, both parties will conduct a feasibility study to establish a joint venture for data center operations in Vietnam. This initiative aims to provide digital critical infrastructure for Vietnamese people, contributing to the digital and social transformation of development Vietnam.

Regarding renewable energy, both parties will conduct a feasibility study on the implementation of the wind power plant project in Vietnam. These projects aim to supply clean and reliable energy to urban development projects developed by Vinhomes.

Meanwhile, regarding crude oil recycling, Mitsubishi Corporation will form a working group to do so collecting used cooking oil from Vinhomes and Vinpearl projects, recycling them into biofuels to protect the environment. In addition, they will promote community activities to grow a green lifestyle in urban areas.

"With the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between Vingroup and Mitsubishi Corporation, I am sure these two groups will start a growth path and a strong increase in the years to come," he concluded.
