Wuling BingooEV Wins Best City Car EV Award In Indonesia

JAKARTA - Wuling Motors (Wuling) has many electric car models in Indonesia, one of which isluEV which was launched at the end of 2023, and was well received in the Indonesian market.

Wuling's second EV product, BinguoEV, was not only well received but also managed to get the Best City Car EV award at the 2024 Automotive Award which was held at the Gold Dragon Senayan Park, Jakarta today. This environmentally friendly car is the prima donna of Indonesian consumers through its iconic appearance, wide cabin, to complete features to support the everyday driving experience.

This annual award event carries the theme Innovation in Motion which appreciates the steps of the automotive brand in innovating to present the best vehicle products for the Indonesian people. The 2024 Automotive Award judging is carried out by a competent and independent test driver and test rider. This year, as many as 87 cars and 95 motorcycles have been nominated through testing and judging for a period of one year, from April 2023 to April 2024.

As additional information, BinguoEV is the second electric vehicle line from Wuling for the Indonesian automotive market. This hatchback-sized vehicle appears with a timeless design on the exterior. Fascia's electric car is decorated with X-Shaped LED Headlamp and Diamond Shaped Grille. Then Impressive Two-Tone Body Color which creates an elegant and unique look. On the back, the presence of X-Shaped LED Tail Lights and Streamline Ducktail provides a modern and futuristic touch on the car.

The classy and comfortable design of the BinguoEV interior reinforces the iconic elements in the interior of the cabin. The spacious space and the large number of compartments also make the storage of luggage easier so that it is more accommodating to answer daily mobility needs.

The Wuling second electric car carries a premium driving experience with the support of various modern features to maximize travel. Various functional features are also embedded such as Smart Entry & Smart Start, Multifunction Steering Wheel, double screen 10.25 inches TFT Dual Screen, 6-way Electric Adjustable Driver Seat, Cruise Control, Rear Parking Sensor and Camera, Electric Parking Brakes, 4 Speakers, to the Active Rotary Gear Selector. BinguoEV is marketed in Indonesia in three variants, consisting of the Long Range AC and Long Range AC/DC type which have a distance of up to 333 km, as well as Premium Range AC/DC with a distance of up to 410 km. There are three color choices offered for BinguoEV, ranging from Milk Tea and Mousse Green combined with a brown and white interior, as well as Galaxy Blue which has an interior with black and white colors.
