JAKARTA - One of the largest automotive events of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024 is just counting the moon. This annual event will greet automotive lovers in the country on July 18-28 at ICE BSD, Tangerang.

General Chairperson of Gaikindo Yohannes Nangoi, said this event would come with a different concept with the theme 'Innovation Meets Inspiration' offering advanced technology motorized vehicles in order to provide breakthroughs for future mobility.

"Innovation driven by inspiration and creativity is the force behind the transformation of the motor vehicle industry to continue to develop, presenting cutting-edge technology to the public," said Nangoi in a statement received by the media, Friday, April 5.

Furthermore, Nangoi continued that his party promised this event would present hundreds of supporting industrial brands, so that visitors would be educated about the automotive industry in Indonesia.

"This year the implementation of GIIAS presents innovation by expanding its exhibition area, therefore, GIIAS 2024 will not only present the latest technological innovations and vehicle models, but will also display the latest products from hundreds of supporting industry brands," said Nangoi.

In addition, this year's edition of the GIIAS will come in special with the expansion of the newest hall, namely Hall 11, so that brand-holding agents (APM) can freely show off their motorized vehicles in this event.

Thus, the event will use an area of 12,000 m2 and it is hoped that this can add to the experience of visitors in visiting the exhibition.

In addition, GIIAS will also be held in several other strategic cities such as Surabaya on August 28 September 1 at Grand City Convex, then Bandung on September 25 at Sudirman Grand Ballroom, and Semarang on October 23 at Muladi Dome Undip.

"We believe that this year's implementation will also be a positive impetus for the achievements of the Indonesian motor vehicle industry this year, so that it can return to its maximum," concluded Nangoi.
