Tiggo V Becomes a Candidate for a New Model for Chery to Offer a Travel Distance of 1,030 Km

JAKARTA - PT Chery Sales Indonesia officially revealed its latest product candidate at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026, namely the Tiggo V or previously known as the X concept which was exhibited at the automotive event last year.

Chery Group Indonesia President Director Zheng Shuo, revealed that the model had been developed two years ago, both by the team in Indonesia and in its home country China.

"Tiggo V is an SUV with an MPV cabin design that can be converted into a pickup truck, and its design has been adjusted to the needs of consumers in Indonesia," he said in his speech, Wednesday, August 5.

Globally, the Tiggo V carries the 3-in-1 Family Vehicle concept which combines the characteristics of an SUV, MPV, and a utility vehicle, namely a double cabin pickup truck in one model.

The Chinese brand said that the letter "V" in the name of Tiggo V stands for Versatility, Value, and Victory, reflecting the flexibility, value, and driving experience for modern families.

This is strengthened by the flexibility of the cabin, because the model can be personalized according to needs, including providing various seat configurations, such as 2+3+2 (7 passengers), 2+3+3 (8 passengers), up to 2+2+3 with a captain seat in the second row.

Dimensionally, the Tiggo V comes with a length of 4,910 mm, a width of 1,921 mm, and a height of 1,790 mm. Ground clearance 220 mm. Thus, this car has a bulky proportion.

From the heart of the heart, the Tiggo V will be available in a choice of gasoline engines (ICE) and Chery Super Hybrid (CSH). Mileage up to 1,030 kilometers for the CSH variant.
