Manchester United Vs Rangers: Is The Gubernatoriality At Old Trafford Continues?

JAKARTA - Manchester United will host Rangers in the seventh match of the Europa League 2024/2025 at Old Trafford, Friday, January 24, 2025, early morning WIB.

Even though it was held at home, it was a big problem for the Red Devils. They have lost four of the last five home games in all competitions.

The only victory was scored against a team occupying the base of the Premier League standings, Southampton (3-1).

In fact, Manchester United are more comfortable when playing away. The proof is that they can hold back the league leaders, Liverpool (2-2), at Anfield and win over Arsenal (5-3 penalty shootout) at Emirates in the FA Cup Third Round.

"We are really anxious, especially when playing at home. It's getting more and more difficult for everyone to play at Old Trafford," Amorim said again.

Interestingly, in the last five matches at Old Trafford, Manchester United always conceded first.

However, there was only one game they managed to get through with a comeback and finally won, namely when they host Southampton.

While the rest, against Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Brighton, all ended in defeat.

"The first goal against Forest is a game that has been arranged and against Bournemouth, it's not tactical, it's about focus."
