JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin's plan to review the application of the death penalty in major corruption cases, such as PT Asabri and Jiwasraya, has the full support of KPK (Corruption Eradication Commission) Chairman, Firli Bahuri.
In response to this, the Deputy Chairperson of the Gelora Party, Fahri Hamzah, said that two law enforcement agencies, namely the KPK and the Attorney General's Office, were joining forces to jointly break the chain of corruption that always harms the state.
