Private Hospital Security Guard In Central Jakarta Allegedly Knocks Residents To Death, Police Immediately Hold Cases

JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Metro Police investigators are still investigating the case of a beating that caused death at a private hospital in the Paseban area, Senen, Central Jakarta.

The beating was allegedly carried out by a security guard at a private hospital in Paseban until the victim named Iwan died.

"(Related to) Yesterday's incident is still under investigation by the Satreskrim Polres. We'll let you know later", said Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sam Suharto, to VOI, Thursday, October 28.

Until now, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim is still examining several witnesses who were arrested. "Not yet (there are suspects) still under investigation. Not yet (any have been detained), still being investigated", he said.

Shortly, the Central Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit will hold a case to determine the incident.

"It's still being investigated, it will be held (the case) will continue to be informed about its progress. The witness is still being investigated", said AKP Sam Suharto.

Meanwhile, Trie Utami, the victim's wife, admitted that she had reported the case to the Central Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters.

In Trie's report, it was written that she received information from a private hospital in the Paseban area that Iwan (the victim) had to be operated on because of an accident.

Trie went to the hospital and asked for an ID card. Then Trie was taken to the 2nd floor of the hospital to be explained, then Trie was forced to sign an operation letter because the victim said the hospital was bleeding in the head.

Trie was suspicious. Trie was then invited to the Emergency Unit (ER) of the hospital to see the condition of Iwan's victim. When he saw Iwan's condition, Trie's suspicions began to grow.

The reason is, when he saw Iwan's body, there were no signs of injuries from the accident. Trie was even asked to photocopy the Family Card (KK) as many as 3 sheets.

Trie, who memorized the injuries from the accident, became increasingly suspicious of the information given by the hospital. Then, he went back down and saw the beginning of Iwan's entry to the RS ER through the registration book.

An argument ensued because of Trie's growing suspicion. Trie was then told by the security guard that previously there had been a theft at the hospital with the characteristics of the perpetrator resembling the victim.

It is suspected that the victim was immediately secured by the security guard when he went to the hospital and was abused so that the victim suffered bleeding in the head and was unconscious.

Not long after, Iwan's life could not be saved. Ivan died. Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the Central Jakarta Metro Police.
