Viani Limardi Finally Officially Sues PSI Party IDR 1 Trillion: This Is About The Family's Good Name

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD) member Viani Limardi felt that her dismissal from the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) was a crime with the intention of killing her character.

This character assassination has damaged her image, her extended family and has harmed her, who has been helping to raise PSI in DKI Jakarta.

According to Viani Limardi, the accusation of inflating recess funds is a form of slander that cannot be tolerated.

"This has harmed my career, the name of my extended family, including the residents of DKI Jakarta. The inflating of the recess funds is slander," explained Viani Limardi in a written statement, Wednesday, October 20.

So, continued Viani Limadi, it is natural for her to continue this matter to legal channels.

"Because this is an attempt to damage my political career, I will not remain silent, we will take legal action," she said.

What Viani Limardi said was not a bluff. The lawsuit against PSI has been filed with the Central Jakarta District Court.

In the attachment of the file, Viani Limardi sued IDR 1 trillion to the Central Executive Board, the Board of Trustees, and the Regional Leadership Council of PSI. The lawsuit is registered with the number: PN JKT.PST-102021KJM dated October 19, 2021.

Viani Limardi was well aware that this was not what she really wanted to do, but the accusations of inflating the recess funds really hurt her feelings.

"I obey the law. I will do my duty. Likewise with rights. As citizens, we all obey the applicable laws and regulations," she said.

With the filing of the lawsuit, she hopes, justice will emerge.

"I will not take a step back. it's about my reputation, my political career and my family. We will prove it in court. May God be with us and the truth can be revealed," concluded Viani Limardi.
