Deputy Mayor Of Surabaya Gives IDR 64 Million Stimulus For MSME Wonokromo

SURABAYA - Deputy Mayor of Surabaya, Armuji, provided stimulus funds worth IDR 64 million for 128 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Wonkromo District, Surabaya City, East Java.

"This assistance is personal to be given to each business actor for IDR 500 thousand. I hope it can give encouragement and be used for business purposes", Armuji said during a meeting with the MSME Association in Wonokromo District, Surabaya, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, October 13.

Armuji admitted that he has been traveling to MSME centers continuously in several sub-districts including Wonocolo, Rungkut, Tenggilis Mejoyo, and Wonokromo. It is possible to continue to other districts.

"Me and Pak Eri Cahyadi are currently focusing on economic recovery. Of course, health and welfare cannot be separated", he said.

According to Armuji, vaccination dose 1 in the city of Surabaya has reached 110 percent and dose 2 has reached 80 percent. This means he continued, the potential for COVID-19 transmission in Surabaya can still be controlled.

Therefore, he continued, his party hopes that the economic recovery will run so that MSME actors can bounce back.

Representative of the Wonokromo MSME association, Nanik Heri, explained that the condition of MSME actors had been hit when the PPKM was implemented. For this reason, he hopes that with assistance and assistance from the city government, MSME's economic activities can run normally.

Nanik also appreciates and is grateful for the concern of the Deputy Mayor of Surabaya, Armuji, who has assisted MSME actors.
