Residents Complained About Procurement Of 12 Infectious Ambulance Cars With Problems, West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Intervened

West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office carried out a follow-up and clarification process regarding the completeness of medical equipment standards (ANTARA)

KALBAR - The West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has clarified public complaints regarding the standard completeness of medical equipment in the 12 infectious ambulance units allocated by the West Kalimantan Provincial Government.

In the Intelligence, Economic and Financial Section (Section-C) of the West Kalimantan Attorney General's Office, Thoriq Mulahela said the clarification action taken was a normal procedure as a follow-up to public complaints.

"This clarification action is also an escort for strategic government projects, both nationally and regionally," he said in Pontianak as reported by Antara, Tuesday, October 12.

He added that what his party did was as a follow-up to the alleged problem in procuring an infectious ambulance.

"As soon as we receive complaints from the public, we immediately carry out a clarification process, for the time being I can't tell what goes into the subject matter, but the point is that we are currently carrying out a clarification process and all sorts of things," he said.

It is known, on August 30, 2021, the West Kalimantan Provincial Government has handed over assistance as many as 12 infectious ambulance units complete with supporting medical equipment as a form of improving services to the community.

In addition, the infectious ambulance is also prioritized for accelerating the first emergency handling of the COVID-19 pandemic in West Kalimantan.

Meanwhile, West Kalimantan Governor Sutarmidji stated that the 12 infectious ambulance units had met the criteria and standards as infection handling vehicles.

However, it allows law enforcement to investigate. If there are findings, immediately carry out legal proceedings.

"If you say it's incomplete, which one is incomplete, because everything is there," he said.
