Volunteers In Luhut's Declaration Support Luhut To Become A Presidential Candidate In 2024, The Reason Is All Of Jokowi's Tasks Are Done In LBP's Hand

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment (Menko Marves) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan (LBP) was declared to be running as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.

"This support was carried out by Friends of LBP after seeing the work and achievements of Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut for about 7 years accompanying President Jokowi both in the midst of normal situations and in the midst of a situation of concern in the midst of the current pandemic," said Spokesperson for Friends of Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, Sarjan Andesbaya, Sunday, October 10.

Initially, Sarjan alluded to many figures who are starting to prepare themselves even though the presidential election is still 3 years away. However, he said, a number of political figures for presidential candidates had started socializing in advance, either through social media, such as the social media team for the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo or the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the Governor of West Java Ridwal Kamil.

"There are others through billboards that are spread in various regions by a number of elite political parties, such as Airlangga Hartarto (Ketum Golkar), Puan Maharani (Chairman of PDIP), Muhaimin Iskandar (Ketum PKB) etc," he said.

However, according to him, LBP is a capable figure who also deserves to be championed in the contestation of the five-year democratic party. The reason is that all-important tasks ordered by Jokowi were successfully completed by Luhut.

In fact, said Sarjan, various achievements have been shown under Luhut's leadership.

"All important tasks ordered by the president to Mr. LBP were carried out successfully according to the target, as we saw when we became the commander of the Java-Bali emergency PPKM in handling COVID-19 in July-September 2021. LBP's leadership is strong when given important tasks," he explained.

Sarjan ensured that Sahabat LBP would garner further support after this declaration. The official declaration, he said, would be made on Youth Pledge Day or October 28, 2021.

"After this soft launch, we will immediately consolidate to gather support, especially youth and student groups, small traders, street vendors, and farmers who we have been advocating for in various regions for a long time. The official declaration will be made right on the day of the youth oath on 28 October in Jakarta," concluded Sarjan.
