BATU CITY - Lili Pratiwi (32), a karaoke guide from Malang, East Java, became a victim of theft while on vacation in Batu City. Four wheels and tires of his Daihatsu Ayla car were stolen by thieves.

Lili told me that at that time she was on vacation and staying at a friend's house. Her car was parked near the soccer field, in Oro-Oro Ombo Village, Batu District, Tuesday, October 5. After that, at 04.00 WIB, she was woken up by her friend and saw that her car tire was missing.

“At 4 o'clock I was informed by a friend that all my car tires were gone", she told reporters, Friday, October 8.

From information from residents, Lili heard that at the time of the incident there was a black car parked covering her car. Then just then there were two men around her.

"Maybe we think our friends are because there are usually 3 cars parked here", said Lili.

She suspected this theft was done because someone was jealous of her. Because next to the car was a car with better wheels but it wasn't stolen.

"I have standard wheels. There are 2 other cars with better wheels", she said.

But this karaoke guide admitted that she had no intention of reporting it to the police. Meanwhile, the loss was around IDR 2.5 million.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Batu City Police, Iptu Yusi Purwanto, said that until now the victim had not reported to the police.

"Even though there are no reports, we are still conducting further investigations", he said.
