There Are Supporters Of The Flat Earth Theory Among Hundreds Of Protesters Of Masks In Britain

JAKARTA - Hundreds of Londoners staged a demonstration against the mandatory wearing of masks when visiting shops in England. Several demonstrators who were members of the masses were also seen presenting several theories that were considered controversial, such as the flat earth issue.

Citing CNN, the crowd descended on Hyde Park in central London to oppose the mandatory mask rule. Various aspirations spilled at the location of the demonstration. Some of the demonstrators carried placards calling them a mind control device.

Meanwhile, some people promote the theory of the flat earth and the connection between 5G technology and COVID-19. They use masks randomly to describe their oppositional attitude.

The crowd moved after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that he would impose a mandatory rule for wearing masks in shops starting Friday. Last week, Johnson said people who broke the rules would be fined up to $ 125.

This rule is said to be sudden. Because the British PM himself was seen wearing a mask for the first time recently.

The use of masks is indeed one of the most effective ways to stem the spread of COVID-19. A number of studies have also revealed that the new corona virus can spread through the air.

As is known, the proportion of mask users in the UK is lower than other European countries. The Royal Society and British Academy Study, for example, found that only 25 percent of Britons wore masks in public in April. That number is far below Italy at 83.4 percent and Spain at 63.8 percent.
