Of the 264 Rohingya immigrants who landed at Alue Bu Tuha Beach, 117 people, including men and 147 other women.

Previously, 346 Rohingya immigrants landed in a number of areas in East Aceh Regency in early February 2024 and late October and November 2024.

"Currently, Rohingya immigrants in temporary shelter locations in Senebok Rawang Football Field, East Peureulak, only 137 people remain. The rest fled," said Syamsul.

Regarding the alleged mastermind behind the escape of Rohingya immigrants in East Aceh, Syamsul admitted that he did not know who helped them escape from the shelter.

"It is impossible for these Rohingya immigrants to escape, if no one helps them. We will continue to monitor the presence of the remaining Rohingya immigrants in the temporary shelter," said Syamsul.
