JAKARTA - Former United States President Donald Trump asked a federal judge in Florida to restore his Twitter account.
Reporting Antara, Saturday, October 2, Trump, quoted by Reuters, filed a preliminary injunction against Twitter in court in Miami, because the platform blocked his account last January.
Trump in the legal file accuses Twitter of blocking his account due to pressure from his political rivals in Congress.
Trump also said Twitter "exercises immeasurable power and control over political discourse in this country, which is unprecedented and extremely dangerous to open democratic debate", Reuters quoted a report from Bloomberg as saying.
In July, Trump sued Twitter, Facebook and Google, and their leaders for illegally silencing conservative viewpoints.
