Case Of Alleged Abuse Of A 5-Year-Old Girl In Ciracas, Police Call The Uncle Of The Victim To Undergo Investigation

JAKARTA – The case of alleged abuse of a 5-year-old girl by her stepmother received a good response from the East Jakarta Police. The Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police is currently undergoing an investigation into the case.

This is reinforced by the statement of the victim's uncle, A (initials), that his party recently received a call to the East Jakarta Metro Police, on Thursday 30 September, tomorrow.

The plan, the agenda for the summons is to clarify the case of abuse experienced by his niece.

"Thursday we were invited again by the East Jakarta Metro Police," said A, the victim's uncle, to reporters, Tuesday, September 28.

He continued, the reported party, namely the victim's stepmother with the initials YC and her brother YC with the initials AM, had not been summoned.

A himself does not know when YC and AM will be investigated by the East Jakarta Metro Police PPA Unit.

The East Jakarta Metro Police will also examine witnesses to the incident.

However, A himself is not sure that residents around the victim's house in the Ciracas sub-district are willing to be witnesses.

"The neighbor's name definitely doesn't want to be involved, that's why we have a little problem with witnesses," he explained.

Previously, it was reported that a five-year-old girl was abused by her stepmother in Ciracas, East Jakarta, Sunday, September 26.

"She was pinched on the cheek, and hit with a broom handle," said BM.

The perpetrators of the abuse were none other than a stepmother with the initials YC and her aunt with the initials AM.

He continued, the cause of the persecution occurred only because the perpetrator was not happy with the victim's food being taken.

Then the two perpetrators were abused and when the child cried, the perpetrator just said his daughter was naughty.

"It's as if my child continues to be blamed, so she always gets hit," BM told reporters at the National Police Hospital, Sunday, September 26.
