JAKARTA - Head of the Supervision and Control Section of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf), Iffan, encouraged the Thousand Islands to immediately obtain a CHSE (Clean, Health, Safety, and Environmental Sustainability) certificate from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf).

Because, before being allowed to open operations, tourist attractions must have CHSE. CHSE is obtained after the tourist site is ready and meets the implementation of health protocols.

"Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) and Ancol have already obtained the CHSE. Now, we encourage the Thousand Islands to get a CHSE certificate as well," Iffan said when contacted, Thursday, September 23.

It is known that the Regent of the Thousand Islands Administrative District has written to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to apply for the opening of his tourist area.

While waiting for approval from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Iffan asked the Thousand Islands Regency Government to first install the PeduliLindungi application in each of its tourist locations.

"At the very least, even though we don't have a CHSE yet, we can access PeduliLindungi just like that. Hopefully, after PeduliLindungi is established, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy can approve Thousand Islands tourism," he said.

Iffan hopes that the CHSE issuance process in the Thousand Islands will be quickly obtained. Given, the island's tourist attractions in the capital city attract many tourists.

"In the Thousand Islands, there are several places that can absorb tourists, both foreign and Nusantara," said Iffan.

As is known, a number of tourist attractions in Jakarta have been opened. Among them are TMII which began operating on September 17 and Ancol from September 14, 2021. Both of these tourist attractions have pocketed CHSE from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

In implementing Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM), the government has a policy of restrictions on tourist attractions, including the following:

1. Follow the health protocols regulated by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, and the Indonesian Ministry of Health

2. Operating hours until 21.00 p.m.

3. It is mandatory to use the PeduliLindungi application to screen all visitors and employees

4. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to enter the tourist attractions that this trial conducted

5. The list of tourist attractions participating in this trial is determined by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia

6. Odd-even license plate regulation application along the road to and from tourist sites starting Friday at 12.00 p.m. until Sunday at 18.00 p.m.
