JAKARTA - The government has again extended the implementation of level 2-4 community activity restrictions (PPKM) in Java and Bali from September 21 to October 4, 2021, because of the COVID-19 situation in Java-Bali is starting to improve.

"President Joko Widodo once asked for a mutual cooperation vaccine target of 22 million, now it's down to 15 million. There should be an acceleration in the implementation of the vaccine because there are workers' rights who must immediately get the vaccine," said Mufida, Tuesday, September 21.

"At a time when the government's vaccine program is getting more intense, these workers should get their rights through mutual cooperation vaccines. But the acceleration still needs to be accelerated," explained Mufida.

 

Mufida revealed that at the end of July 2021, the Ministry of SOEs stated that there were already 7 million doses of the mutual cooperation vaccine stock. But lately, there has been a delay in the arrival of the vaccine.

 

"The price of mutual cooperation vaccines for companies has also fallen and there is a certainty of a stock of 7 million. Don't throw mistakes and responsibilities at each other and in the end, the workers are sacrificed," said Mufida.

 

The Jakarta legislator also reminded the mutual cooperation vaccine is free of charge for workers. The mutual cooperation vaccine, she said, should also not be used as a booster for the general public.", said Mufida.
