The Sadistic Act Of Robbery Near Bintaro XChange, The Victim Does Not Fight, Still Gets Slashed With A Sickle

SOUTH TANGERANG – The sadistic act of robbery has again occurred in the Bintaro Sector 3 area, South Tangerang (Tangsel) not far from Bintaro X Change. The victim, two people riding a motorbike, faced four people with sharp weapons of the type of sickle.

Unable to fight back, one of the victims suffered serious injuries to a number of his bodies due to the slashing of a sickle. The victim's companions managed to escape to seek help. The incident occurred on Saturday, September 18, at around 04.00 western Indonesia time.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pondok Aren Police, Inspector Rony Setiawan, said the gang of robbers consisted of four people riding two motorbikes.

"The victim was about to go home from Bintaro to Pondok Karya with his friend on the back," said Rony Setiawan in his statement, Sunday, September 19.

Rony explained that at that time the perpetrators immediately stopped the victim's motorbike and took a sharp weapon, a sickle.

"The victim was injured in the upper leg was hit by a sharp weapon by the perpetrator," he said.

The perpetrators managed to take away the victim's motorbike and cellphone. Then they stepped on the gas and fled. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

"The injured victims are only undergoing outpatient treatment," concluded Roni.
