Returning From The Mosque After Maghrib Prayer, Religious Leader In Tangerang Killed By A Man In An Online Ojek Jacket

TANGERANG – Residents of Jalan Gempol, Cipete Village, Pinang, Tangerang City were suddenly crowded after hearing the sound of an eruption that occurred at around 18:30 WIB. The panic of the residents increased when they saw one of the residents lying helpless on the street with his stomach covered in blood.

Based on the testimony of witnesses at the scene, the man with a stomach wound was a shooting victim, named Arman. Arman is known by local residents as one of the religious leaders with the nickname Ustadz Alex.

"The victim was an ustaz. He had just returned from praying Maghrib," said Saiful Basri to reporters at the scene, Saturday, September 18.

Saiful explained that the shooter used an online motorcycle taxi jacket. The suspect fled after seeing the victim lying covered in blood.

"The perpetrator is unknown, wearing a Gojek uniform," said Saiful.

Residents who knew about the incident then took Ustadz Alex to Mulya Hospital, Pinang, Tangerang City. It is not known which part of the body was hit by the perpetrator's bullet. However, residents saw that Uztaz Alex's stomach was bleeding profusely.

"Immediately taken to the Mulya hospital. Don't know his current condition," added Saiful.

Pinang Police Chief, Iptu Tapril confirmed the incident. The shooting case is currently being investigated.

"Still checking for a while, later. Still looking, later," he concluded.

Until now, the police immediately put up a police line at the scene of the shooting. Several residents are being questioned by the police.

Information obtained by local residents, the victim died after being rushed to the hospital. "Died. Now the family is in the hospital," said Lepoy, a local resident.
