Man Who Insulted The Police Was Finally Arrested, Sanctioned By Dancing To The Song 'Charmed'

JAKARTA – Netizens were shocked by the video of fishermen insulting the police. The 14-second video has been circulating on TikTok and Instagram since September 14. After being traced, the figure of the man who insulted the police had an account @agas859.

Posts @agas859 in an instant immediately flooded with hundreds of comments from netizens, one of the comments:

"This is the cycle of humans wanting to be famous, insulting, being caught, being nervous, clarifying, that's all".

It didn't take long for the police to finally catch the man who turned out to be located in South Aceh. According to the police statement, the man had the initials MU. The 20-year-old man made a video via TikTok.

"The perpetrator has been arrested by the Satreskrim of the South Aceh Police", said the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Kombes Winardy when confirmed, Wednesday, September 15.

Winardy explained that the perpetrators were caught after the police conducted a cyber patrol. The upload was finally found, the author was on behalf of the @agas859 account.

In the video, MU is on the boat, shouting cursing, and swearing at the brown uniformed unit. Not only that, but MU also insulted the Red and White flag.

"The arrests were made around 22.00 on September 14, 2021", added Winardy.

MU was taken to the South Aceh Police for further investigation. According to Winardy, the case is still being processed by the police.

The police also secured the Red and White flag brought by MU, as well as the cellphone used by the alleged perpetrator as evidence.
