MEDAN - The perpetrators of the robbery of a gold shop at Simpang Limun Market, Medan City were arrested by the police. One perpetrator had to be shot dead for resisting.

The Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatra Police, Kombes Hadi Wahyudi, confirmed the information regarding the arrest of the Medan gold shop robber. Meanwhile, the perpetrator who died had the initials H.

"One of the perpetrators of the Simpang Lemonade Tax robbery, initials H, was successfully paralyzed and died", said Kombes Hadi, Tuesday, September 14.

Kombes Hadi explained that the perpetrators had to be paralyzed because they resisted during the pre-reconstruction.

"Because they resisted and endangered the officers during the pre-reconstruction to show the direction of the escape and the last gathering point for the other perpetrators", he explained.

Meanwhile, the Medan Police Chief, Kombes Riko Sunarko, when met by reporters after the presentation of the narcotics case, was reluctant to explain in detail the arrest.

"Tomorrow, the Police Chief will release it immediately", said Kombes Riko.

Previously, armed robbers took action at a gold shop at Simpang Limun market, Thursday, August 26.

In the action, the perpetrators, totaling 4 people, stole some jewelry from 2 adjacent gold shops. Losses are estimated at billions of rupiahs.

The robbers injured a parking attendant who was trying to chase them.
