Three Suspected Terrorists Arrested, One Of Them Is The Jemaah Islamiyah Shura Council

JAKARTA - The National Police said that one of the three suspected terrorists arrested in the North Bekasi area with the initials SH is the Syuro Council of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI). Currently, the Anti-terror Detachment 88 is also investigating the role of the alleged terrorist.

"SH is a member of the JI Syuro Council," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan when confirmed, Friday, September 10.

However, Ramadhan did not elaborate further on the role of SH. Including, the roles of two other suspects, S and MEK. This, he said, would be conveyed after the examination of the suspected terrorists was completed. On the previous occasion, Ramadhan mentioned that the three terrorist suspects were arrested at different locations but on the same day, Friday, September 10.

"The identities of the three are MEK, he was arrested this morning. The two S from different places were arrested today at 06.00 WIB, the third was SH," he said.

However, Ramadhan has not presented the evidence confiscated in the arrest.

Currently, they are being taken to Polda Metro Jaya. Because investigators from Densus 88 Anti-terror will explore their involvement in the JI network.
