Minors Sold To Masher, Police Bang On Hotel Room

JAKARTA – Two pimps, RF and ZSS, were arrested by the Tanjung Priok Port Resort Police. The two perpetrators were involved in the prostitution of minors that occurred in a hotel in the Tanjung Priok area.

In amateur video footage, police officers can be seen pretending to knock on a hotel room where an underage girl and a masher are seen.

Head of Unit 3 Crimes Unit of the Tanjung Priok Port Police, Iptu Wan Deni Ramona, revealed that the underage girl in the video was a victim of prostitution.

"We from the Tanjung Priok Port Police have found a group of people who sell and act as intermediaries for prostitution", Wan Deni Ramona told reporters, Monday evening, September 6.

Deni continued, the perpetrators offered the victim on social media. Then, the buyers transact and meet at the hotel.

"The perpetrators traded underage girls through social media. After it was confirmed that they matched, then the transaction was continued and met at the hotel", he said.

The evidence confiscated by officers included women's underwear, cash in the amount of IDR 1.2 million, and contraception.

The two pimps were then taken to the Tanjung Priok Port Police Headquarters for further processing.
