BANYUMAS - The Regent of Banyumas Achmad Husein brings good news for his citizens. On Sunday, August 22, his party will conduct a trial of opening malls and shopping centers with special supervision.

"Today we did a check and we saw their preparation first, internally. Tomorrow, Saturday we will check, one by one", he said in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency, as reported by Antara, Friday, August 20.

He said the checks were related to equipment, application provision, how to control the number of visitors according to the specified quota, and so on.

For residents who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine, he said, his party did not prohibit them from entering malls or shopping centers. "Here, there is no (ban for residents who have not received the vaccine). That may be in Jakarta", he said.

The Regent said that before entering a mall or shopping center, visitors are required to scan a barcode through the PeduliLindung application.

Thus, he said, the number of visitors who were inside the mall and those who had left the shopping center would be known.

"If the inside is full (according to the quota, ed.), later the entrance will be closed. So there must be a simulation, the simulation is planned tomorrow", said the Regent.
