KPK Alleges Deputy Chairperson, Taufik, Knows Sale And Purchase Of Land In Munjul

JAKARTA - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators suspect that the Deputy Chairman of the DKI Regional House of Representatives, M. Taufik, is aware of the process of buying and selling land in Munjul, Pondok Rangon, Cipayung, East Jakarta between Perumda Pembangunan Sarana Jaya and PT Adonara Propertindo.

This was asked by KPK investigators to the Gerindra politician Taufik yesterday. Then, investigators also questioned his introduction to the Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur and the owner of the Rhys Auto Gallery car showroom, Rudy Hartono Iskandar, who is one of the suspects in this case.

"The witness was also confirmed regarding his knowledge regarding the process of buying and selling the land and the witness' introduction to the suspect RHI (Rudy Hartono Iskandar)", said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri in his statement, Wednesday, August 11.

Then, investigators studied Taufik regarding the discussion and approval of the budget for Sarana Jaya, one of which was used in land acquisition in Munjul.

Where in the investigation of this case, the KPK found two budget documents for Sarana Jaya. The total figure stated in the two documents is IDR 2.6 trillion, namely SK Number 405 of IDR 1.8 trillion and SK 1684 worth IDR 800 billion.

"The Investigating Team studied the witness' knowledge, among others, related to the proposal and discussion of the budget for BUMD (Regionally-Owned Enterprises) in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, one of which was the land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Rangon, Cipayung, East Jakarta", said Ali.

In addition to Taufik, in investigating this case, the investigative team also examined the Plh of the 2019 BUMD Development Agency, Riyadi. During the investigation, the investigative team questioned Riyadi regarding the mechanism of the DP 0 rupiah program.

"Riyadi was investigated regarding the knowledge of the witness regarding the regulatory process related to the DP 0 rupiah program", said Ali.

Taufik after being questioned by the KPK, Tuesday, August 10, admitted that he knew Rudy Hartono Iskandar. "I know Rudy," said Taufik.

Even so, Taufik claimed not to know about the land corruption case in Munjul. Taufik admitted that he only found out about the alleged corruption that cost the state finances up to IDR 152.5 billion when it was handled by the KPK.

"I don't know Munjul. Know that Munjul was handled by the KPK", he said.

In this case, the KPK has named five parties as suspects, namely the former President Director of the Regional Public Company for the Development of Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles; Deputy Director of PT Adonara Propertindo Anja Runtuwene; Director of PT Adonara Propertindo Tommy Adrian; and Director of PT Aldira Berkah Abadi Makmur (ABAM) Rudy Hartono Iskandar; and PT Adonara Propertindo as a corporate suspect.
