COVID-19 Death Cases Today: Most Are From Central Java, Followed By East Java And West Java

JAKARTA - Daily data from the Ministry of Health on Thursday, July 29 at 12.00 p.m. local time shows that the most cases of death due to COVID-19 occurred in Central Java Province.

The number of COVID-19 patients who died in Central Java was recorded at 679, according to daily data from the Ministry of Health on Thursday afternoon.

After Central Java, there are East Java and West Java with 337 and 210 deaths from COVID-19, respectively.

Meanwhile, the number of deaths due to COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta Province declined to 27 cases on Thursday afternoon.

Overall, the number of COVID-19 sufferers who died in Indonesia increased by 1.893 to 90.552 people.

Meanwhile, the cumulative number of people affected by COVID-19 in the country increased by 43.479 to a total of 3.331.206 with the most additions coming from West Java (7.519), followed by East Java (5.506) and Central Java (4.535).

The number of recovered COVID-19 patients increased by 45.494 to a total of 2.686.170 people.

DKI Jakarta is listed as the province with the most additional number of recovered COVID-19 patients (11.425) followed by West Java (7.845) and Central Java (6.269).

The number of COVID-19 sufferers who are still being treated or undergoing self-isolation was recorded to have increased by 3.908 to 554.484 people.

The government is still carrying out various efforts to tackle the transmission of COVID-19, including implementing community activity restrictions (PPKM).
