JAKARTA - Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) assessed that KPK Deputy Chairwoman Lili Pintauli Siregar had succeeded in imitating the behavior of KPK Chair Firli Bahuri when she was still the Deputy for Enforcement.
ICW researcher Kurnia Ramadhana said this assessment arose because Lili was suspected of communicating with the party whose case was being investigated by the KPK, namely the Mayor of Tanjungbalai M Syahrial. This relationship allegedly occurred when investigators from the anti-corruption commission were investigating the alleged sale and purchase of positions in the Tanjungbalai City Government.
