Bogor Mayor Distributes Food Packages At The Kebon Kembang Market

BOGOR - Bogor Mayor Bima Arya and Bogor City Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro inspected the condition of the Kebon Kembang Market in Bogor City. Both of them at the same time distributed food packages to traders.

Bima Arya took the time to have a dialogue with several traders at the Kebon Kembang market. According to Bima Arya, the PPKM (Restrictions on Community Activities) level 4 policy is currently in effect until Sunday, July 25.

"About the time to trade, we will discuss it with PD Pasar Pakuan Jaya and Satpol PP," he said, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 23.

One of the traders in Block B2 Kebon Kembang Market conveyed his complaint to Bima Arya, during the implementation of the Emergency PPKM starting July 3, the end of the market was very quiet.

After that, Bima Arya and Susatyo Purnomo Condro distributed food packages to the traders.

Previously, the President Director of Perumda Pasar Pakuan Jaya (PPJ) Bogor City, Muzakkir said, Perumda PPJ allowed non-food traders at the Kebon Kembang Market to sell, starting last Thursday, to accommodate the protests of non-food traders.

According to Muzakkir, non-food traders are allowed to sell on the condition that they apply strict health protocols and must follow a 10-point mutual agreement between Perumda PPJ and the traders.

Muzakkir explained, to quell the protests of traders demanding compensation fees, he held discussions with traders' representatives in each block, from Block A to Block G, to find a common solution.

From the discussion, according to Muzakkir, the agreement reached was that non-food traders were allowed to sell, starting Thursday, July 22, but with a note following the points of the mutual agreement between the traders and Perumda PPJ.
