23 Kelurahan Kota Tangerang Red Zone, Most Cases In Karawaci

JAKARTA - As many as 23 of the total 104 Kelurahan in 10 sub-districts of Tangerang City, Banten Province are included in the red zone for the spread of COVID-19. This is based on the results of the mapping carried out by the local Health Office (Dinkes).

Head of the Protocol and Communications Section for the Tangerang City Government, Buceu Gartina said the results of data collection carried out by the Health Office on June 21, 2021, as many as 23 urban villages in 10 sub-districts were included in the spread of COVID-19.

"This is in line with the surge in COVID-19 cases that occurred over the last two weeks. Meanwhile, three sub-districts are included in the orange zone," he said in Tangerang, as reported by Antara, Tuesday. June 22.

He said the most cases of the spread of COVID-19 were in the Karawaci District area with a total of 94 people who were confirmed positive. Meanwhile, the area with the least spread of COVID-19 is Benda Subdistrict with 14 active cases.

"The red zone is an area where there are five houses with positive confirmed cases in one RT for the past seven days," he said.

Meanwhile, for positive confirmed cases who were treated until June 22, 2021 at 12.00 WIB, there were 531 people and were undergoing treatment and self-isolation.

The City Government also continues to appeal to the public to continue to increase vigilance regarding the current surge in COVID-19 cases by always implementing health protocols.

Moreover, the occupancy of beds in hospitals throughout the city of Tangerang has reached 91.32 percent and the Concentrated Isolation House (RIT) is almost full.

"Prioritize health by always being disciplined in implementing health protocols. The spike in cases is still happening and people are expected to always take care of each other and remind each other," said Buceu Gartina.
