The thugs were then transported to the Gresik Police Headquarters for interrogation by the Criminal Investigation Unit and a health check.

Grand Commissioner Adjutant Arief said the control of thuggery was in accordance with the instructions of the National Police Chief after receiving direct orders from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo.
