Ministry Of Defense Appoints North Tapanuli To Be A Food Estate Provider Of 10,000 Hectares For National Food Security

Regent of Taput Drs. Nikson Nababan when receiving an audience with Colonel Munzir Ilyas and Dandim 0210/TU Lt. Col. Czi Roni Agus Widodo in order to appoint Taput as a provider of 10 thousand hectares of land for Food Estate.

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia has appointed North Tapanuli Regency (Taput) to be the provider of 10,000 hectares of Food Estate land to maintain National Food Security.

The appointment was when North Tapanuli Regent, Drs. Nikson Nababan received an audience from the Widyaswara Madya Pusdiklat State Defense Badiklat of the Ministry of Defensen, Colonel Kav. Munzir Ilyas, SH MH with Dandim 0210/TU Lt. Col. Czi Roni Agus Widodo, Monday, June 7.

"This is a blessing for North Tapanuli because we were appointed to provide 10,000 hectares of land for the Ministry of Defense food estate to increase the country's ability to produce food to ensure the fulfillment of sufficient food needs, as land for National Food Security in the North Sumatra Region", said Nikson Nababan. which at that time was accompanied by the Regional Secretary, Indra Simaremare, and several related OPDs.

Later, we will plant crops that promise the community and high market demand, such as shallots. "On the other hand, we will also provide land for livestock such as pigs and goats", said Nikson Nababan.

Colonel Munzir Ilyas said that in the Food Estate what will be planted later, it is up to the North Tapanuli Regency Government depending on the needs of the community or the needs of the market so that it can boost the welfare of the community.
