Residents complain about damaged roads in Soppeng/DOK South Sulawesi Provincial Government

JAKARTA - The people of Soppeng Regency can finally breathe a sigh of relief with the reconstruction of the road structure on the Cabenge section, in Lilirilau District.

Previously, the condition of the Cabenge road was badly damaged. The public complains of potholes on the road conditions, especially two-wheelers.

The Acting Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, conveyed that the work on road maintenance/rehabilitation and reconstruction/increasing the capacity of the Cabenge road structure had begun in Soppeng Regency.

"Alhamdulillah, this year the Provincial Government is working on the reconstruction/improvement of the 3.43 km road in Cabenge," he said, Sunday, June 6.

For the reconstruction of the road, he said, a budget of around Rp 15 billion was allocated. He also admitted that this road segment often received complaints from the public, one of which was on his social media.

The work on road infrastructure is one of the focuses of the Acting Governor of South Sulawesi Andi Sudirman Sulaiman. Given that road access is one of the facilities needed by the community. Especially in facilitating access to the community's economy.

"Let's support and pray for the construction of this road segment to be completed soon and without problems," said Andi Sudirman.
