Gas Cylinder Explodes In Kalideres, No Casualties

JAKARTA - An explosion due to a gas leak occurred at a residence on Jalan Golden Palm Blok F No.76, Citra 5, Pegadungan, Kalideres, West Jakarta, this afternoon. The explosion had no impact on the fire or casualties.

The report was received by the West Jakarta Fire Department Command Center at 12.26 WIB from a resident named Supriyatna. A fire team from Citra Post was immediately deployed with one Light Fire Truck unit and five personnel.

Officers arrived at the location at 12.22 WIB, just six minutes after the report came in. They immediately confirmed the situation was safe and closed the source of the green tube gas leak.

Even though no fire was burning, the smell of gas was still smelled around the location. The cooling process was completed at 12.25 WIB, and the outage operation was declared complete five minutes later.

Temporary suspicion, said Kasips Dmkar West Jakarta, Syarifudin, the explosion occurred due to a gas cylinder leak. The fire team has confirmed that there are no significant casualties or damage.
