Sadistic! KKB Papua Kills Head Of Nipurlema Village Petianus And His Family, Shooting Still Occurs

JAKARTA - The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) continues to spread terror against civilians in Puncak Regency, Papua. They killed a family in Eromaga, in Omukia District in the early hours of Friday, June 4th.

Head of the Nemangkawi Public Relations Task Force, Kombes M Iqbal Alqudusy, said that the total number of victims who died were five people from one family of the village head of Nipurlema Petianus Kogoya.

"The victim who died was the village head of Nipurlema Petianus Kogoya with his family members. Until now the victim is still in Eromaga and cannot be evacuated because there is still gunfire around Ilaga Airport", said Kombes Iqbal in a written statement quoted by Antara in Timika, Friday, June 4th.

Earlier on Thursday, June 3rd, KKB also shot dead a resident in Eromaga Ilaga on behalf of Abel Halenti (30).

As a result of this incident, residents from 10 villages around Eromaga eventually fled to Kunga.

Kombes Iqbal said the joint military and police forces were continuing to pursue the perpetrators of the shooting of innocent civilians.

The shooter was identified as an armed group led by Lekagak Telenggeng, which has been carrying out terrorist acts of shooting in several districts in the Puncak Regency.
