Encourage Policy Brief To Follow Up Real Actions, Coordinating Minister Yusril: We Need Effective Leaders

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Correction Yusril Ihza Mahendra emphasized that the policy briefing is a road map that must be followed up with concrete actions.

Coordinating Minister Yusril mentioned that the policy summary is not just academic documents, thus emphasizing the importance of sustainable implementation. He conveyed this at the Policy Brief Seminar and the National Leadership Training Participants Training Project (PKN) Level I of the LXV State Administration Institute (LAN) in Jakarta, Monday 8 December.

"We need leaders who not only understand the problem, but are able to ensure that policy recommendations run effectively and have a direct impact on the community," said Yusril as confirmed in Jakarta, Thursday, in Antara.

He also appreciated the analytical approach drawn up in every policy summary by representatives of the LXV LAN Class I PKN participants.

However, the Coordinating Minister did not forget to highlight the need for regulatory synchronization, cross-sectoral coordination and sustainability of change projects to realize a bureaucracy that is responsive, accountable, and result-oriented.

Yusril emphasized that the Coordinating Ministry for Human Rights and Human Rights, Imipas, is ready to support various innovative initiatives relevant to national agendas in the fields of law, human rights, immigration, and corrections.

On this occasion, the Deputy for the Implementation of the Capacity Development of State Civil Apparatus LAN Tri Widodo emphasized the urgency of leadership innovation in facing the challenges of modern governance.

He conveyed that PKN Level I is not just a training forum, but a strategic forum to produce policy leadership that is able to drive real change.

"Today's apparatus must be adaptive, able to make breakthroughs, and have the courage to take decisions based on data and policy analysis," said Tri.

Therefore, he assessed that the summary of policies presented by participants was an important asset to strengthen bureaucratic competitiveness.

The Polycy Brief Seminar and the PKN Level I Participants Change Project Exhibition of the LXV LAN Force took place dynamically with the presence of inter-ministerial and institutional stakeholders.

After the opening, representatives of the LXV Class I PKN participants explained a strategic idea that is oriented towards concrete solutions to the actual issues of the government.

Various issues in question, ranging from digital transformation of public services, increasing the effectiveness of cross-sectoral coordination to strengthening institutional integrity. These innovative ideas are presented comprehensively and get great attention from invitees.

The event then continued with the exhibition of the PKN Participants Change Project LXV which featured the prototype, system, and policy design that had been tested for its implementation.

The participants had the opportunity to discuss directly with ministry/institutional officials, policy practitioners, and experts, in order to enrich their perspective and strengthen opportunities for future project implementation.

With the holding of the event, LAN emphasized its commitment to continue producing strategic leaders who are able to encourage policy innovation in the Indonesian bureaucracy.

The Policy Brief Seminar and the Change Project Exhibition are expected to be catalysts for accelerating bureaucratic reform and strengthening the quality of public services in the era of digital transformation.
