New Recidivist Freed From Cipinang Prison, Having Sex With 16-year-old Woman, Arrested Again

JAKARTA - A drug recidivist who has just been released from Cipinang Prison has again committed acts of sexual violence against minors.

The suspect with the initials ATH had the heart to have sex with a woman who met him with the initials APM (16) which occurred in the Jatinegara area, East Jakarta.

The incident began when the victim became acquainted with the suspect through social media.

Then after regularly communicating via social media, the suspect invited the victim to meet the agreed place in the Banten Alley area, Balimester.

After meeting, the perpetrator then forced the victim to join in drinking alcohol and then invited him to somewhere.

Still from the perpetrator's confession, he then had sex with the victim in an unconscious condition. After being sexually assaulted and the victim was unconscious, the victim then returned to his house.

Apparently when he returned home, the victim suffered a bloody wound to his lips. Thanks to the wound, the victim's parents asked.

The victim also admitted that he was invited to get drunk by the suspect and was sexually assaulted.

After hearing the statement of his son, the victim's parents were angry and then made a report to the East Jakarta Metro Police.

Meanwhile, the East Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim PPA Unit, which received reports of sexual intercourse, immediately moved quickly to arrest the perpetrators.

"After the victim's parents reported to the PPA unit, we made efforts to force the arrest and detention of the suspect," said Head of PPA of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Sri Yatmini, Monday, December 8, 2025.

From the results of the examination, the suspect ATH carried out sexual intercourse with the victim from October to December 2025.

"The suspect is a recidivist, he was convicted in Cipinang Prison. For his actions, the suspect is threatened with 15 years in prison," he said.
