The attorney for the victim of the beating of unscrupulous members of the Bekasi Regency DPRD visited the PDI-P DPP Office on Jalan Diponegoro, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 27, afternoon. He came to report the alleged violation of the code of ethics of a member of the Bekasi Regency DPRD with the initials N against his client.

The victim's attorney, Lusita Thoha, said the legislator was suspected of molesting his client, Fendy at a restaurant on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, evening.

"I delivered a letter of complaint to the PDI-P Code of Ethics Council. This is related to the incident of beating 170 and 351 of my client that occurred in Cikarang, precisely at the Cacau Restaurant," said Lusita at the location, Thursday, November 27, 2025.

According to Lusita, the incident occurred when Fendy was sitting drinking at the restaurant. Then, a group of unscrupulous members of the Bekasi Regency DPRD with the initials N, totaling around 14 people, came and occupied one of the long tables with a block booking system.

From there, eye contact and the situation saw each other occurred so that one of the drivers from the group of officials came to his client. Not long after, without clear conversations or triggers, abuse immediately occurred.

"The name of the DPRD member immediately hit the eyes, head, and stomach of my client. The eyes were hit with hands, the head was hit with a bottle, and there were also scratches and kicks," he said.

He emphasized that the victim was in a position alone when he was beaten.

"It's called one-on-one or not. My client is alone, and that's a clear beating," he added.

As a result of the persecution, Fendy suffered quite severe injuries. The retina eyes were damaged and the head was leaking. His eyes had retinal disorders on the left side.

"The head also suffered a leaky wound, and there were many injuries from being hit by bottles and scratches," he said.

All of these wounds have been strengthened through a post-mortem made shortly after the incident occurred. The day after the incident, Lusita immediately made a police report.

"The next morning we immediately created an LP at Polda Metro Jaya and underwent a post-mortem. After that, the Regional Police delegated their handling to the Bekasi Regency Police," he said.

He said the police response at the Bekasi Police was quite good, but until now there has been no action against the reported party.

"There has been no action for the perpetrators. There has been no arrest yet," he said.

In addition to the legal process, Lusita feels it is important to bring the case to PDIP because the reported party cadres occupy public positions.

"Members of the council have a code of ethics. We report this so that parties see and set an example to the public that a member of the DPRD should not commit indecent acts such as persecution and beatings," he said.

Lusita emphasized that the victim had no relationship with the perpetrator.

"The victim and the perpetrator did not know each other. There were no previous problems. My client just happened to be at that location," he said.

Apart from PDIP, Lusita plans to visit the Bekasi Regency DPRD to submit a report to the Honorary Court of the Council.

"I will also go to the DPRD MKD. This is so that all processes run, both party ethics and council ethics," he said.

Lusita hopes that reports to PDIP can trigger firm action from the party against its members who are suspected of committing violence.

"Hopefully the central PDIP can take better steps. And hopefully the legal process will be completed," he said.
