DENPASAR - A personal problem check makes RF (23) create an account that resembles Ardi Alit. This account was used to deliberately corner the victim with an insulting post on Nyepi Day.

This incident went viral because of the content of the post on Ardi Alit's account 'Abdilah Pulukan' which was deliberately made by the perpetrator. Police are also investigating the case.

Cyberteam through the investigation obtained information on the account data of victim Ardi Alit taken over by others since January 29.

"And the account owner is no longer able to access the account using a mobile phone and a password that the owner knows has been taken by the perpetrator. Because the previous account owner had created a website link that was received and asked to enter an email or phone along with a Facebook password in the website", he said.

While the perpetrator admitted to creating an account Abdillah Pulukan. Until finally the perpetrator uploaded the insult of Nyepi day.

"The harmed here is the owner Ardi Alit. The motive was heartache. He (the perpetrator) created an account. From the confession in question because of personal problems", he said.

Perpetrators are also known to hack other people's phones for extortion. Four victims reported being threatened with photos and videos.

"That, this case there is a similarity of the perpetrator of phishing, this perpetrator spread phishing links on several social media accounts. Then, from the information we analyze that he did it," he said.

The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, May 6 in Jembrana. When examined the perpetrator admitted to blackmailing the victim after getting exciting photos/videos of hacked cellphone owners.

The perpetrator told police he learned to self-taught hacked social media and mobile phones from YouTube.

"The victim was blackmailed, we accept there are 4 people who have reported to the Bali Police", Suinaci said.
