BMW Group Indonesia expands its high-performance vehicle line in the country by presenting three new models at once, namely the New BMW M3 Competition Touring M xDrive, the New BMW M2, and the New BMW M2 CS.

The three models are aimed at different consumer characters, ranging from users who want a high-performance car but are still practical for daily activities, to sports car enthusiasts who prioritize driving sensations on the track.

President Director of BMW Group Indonesia, Sunny Medalla, said the BMW M division has an important role in the company's long journey for more than five decades. According to him, the motorsport DNA brought by BMW M continues to be a reference in presenting an uncompromising driving experience.

"BMW M has always had a very special place in the BMW Group's journey. For more than five decades, the letter M has been a symbol of performance, innovation and motorsport technology that is brought to production vehicles for customers who want an uncompromising driving experience," said Sunny Medalla, quoted from the official statement, Friday, June 26.

The launch of the three models is also part of the celebration of 25 years of the BMW Group Indonesia. On the same occasion, the German manufacturer also announced various programs that will be presented at GIIAS 2026, including special price offers for several models and plans to debut the latest BMW iX3 which is built using the Neue Klasse platform.

The new BMW M3 Competition Touring M xDrive comes as an option for consumers who need a high-performance vehicle without sacrificing functionality. This estate-style car is equipped with a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 530 hp and 650 Nm of torque.

All power is channeled through an eight-speed M Steptronic automatic transmission and M xDrive all-wheel drive system. BMW claims the M3 Touring is capable of accelerating from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds with a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

In terms of utility, the boot capacity reaches 500 liters and can be expanded to 1,510 liters when the rear bench is folded. Various features such as the BMW Curved Display, adaptive M suspension, M Compound Brake, M Drift Analyzer, to M Laptimer also equip this model.

Meanwhile, the new BMW M2 still retains the character of a compact sports coupé with rear-wheel drive. This car carries a 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine that now produces 480 hp and 600 Nm of torque, an increase of 20 hp and 50 Nm respectively compared to the previous model.

Coupled with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, the New BMW M2 is claimed to be able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. For the Indonesian market, this model has been equipped with an M Carbon Roof, M Compound Brake with red calipers, and M light-alloy wheels measuring 19 inches in front and 20 inches in the back.

The New BMW M2 CS is the most ferocious variant in the M2 family. Its power reaches 530 hp with 650 Nm of torque, or 50 hp and 50 Nm higher than the standard M2. Thanks to the weight reduction of around 30 kilograms through the use of various carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, this car is able to record an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds with a maximum speed of 302 km/h.

For the latest BMW M model lineup, the New BMW M2 is marketed starting at IDR 1.977 billion off the road for NIK 2025 and IDR 1.987 billion for NIK 2026.
