Roy Suryo Cs's Examination Abroad Applicables For 20 Days

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto said that investigators had dismissed eight suspects in the alleged fake diploma case of former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), including Roy Suryo Cs, abroad for 20 days.

"The investigation by investigators was carried out, sent to eight suspects. That is valid for 20 days, from November 8 to November 27, 2025," Budi told the media at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, Friday, November 21.

Budi revealed that the determination of the eight suspects would be extended for six months for investigation purposes.

"But it will be extended for deconstruction for the next 6 months. This letter will still proceed for the second decomposition," he said.

Budi emphasized that the reason for the determination was carried out to facilitate the investigation process.

"This demarcation process is to facilitate the investigation process carried out by the Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

"So, to make it easier so that an arrest is carried out because the suspect himself at the time of the last examination submitted witnesses and experts who mitigated so that this process also runs," he said.

Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Asep Edi Suheri has named eight suspects in a defamation case related to alleged fake diplomas reported by former Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The eight suspects were divided into two clusters.

The five suspects in the first cluster were lawyer Eggi Sudjana (ES), Kurnia Tri Rohyani (KTR), M. Rizal Fadillah (MRF), Rustam Effendi (RE), and Damai Hari Lubis (DHL).

The second cluster consists of three names, namely former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Roy Suryo (RS), Tifauziah Tyassuma alias dr. Tifa (TT), and digital forensic expert Rismon Hasiholan Sianipar (RHS).
